Membership Details
Membership
to
Rangitoto Toastmasters Club is open to all adults 18 years and over who
are interested in learning and helping others develop communication and
leadership skills.
If you are interested in joining, please come along to a meeting as a guest or contact
us and ask to join.
Club
Membership Fees
Rangitoto
Toastmasters Club is a not-for-profit club and is bound by the terms of
the Club Constitution and the Standard Bylaws for Clubs of Toastmasters
International.
The
annual membership fees cover running costs of the club. For example, it
covers the room hire, equipment hire, member registration fees with
Toastmasters International, and purchasing of supplies needed to run
the club meetings each year.
All
members will require a copy of the Toastmasters International New
Member Kit. The current 2006 fee for this kit at Rangitoto Toastmasters
Club
is set at $32.00.
All
members pay an annual membership fee. The current 2006 Rangitoto
Toastmasters Club membership fee is set at $200 per annum. Membership
renewal is based on the date the new members joins the club.
The
Rangitoto Toastmasters Club annual membership fee can either be paid as
a single payment at the beginning of your membership year, Two
six-monthly payments, or on a monthly automatic payment. The later two
options incur a surcharge as outlined below.
- Option
1: An annual payment of $200.00
- Option
2: Two six-monthly payments of $110.00 (i.e. Total of $220.00 per annum)
- Option
3: Twelve one-month automatic payments of $18.00 per month. (i.e. Total
of $216.00 per annum plus any bank fees charged by your bank.)
The
payment options allow you to take care of your fees without the pain of
paying out a lump sum once a year. Further information on setting this
up is available from the Club Treasurer.

Many
employers recognise Toastmasters as a valuable training tool for their
employees so we find that many are prepared to cover the cost of
membership for the employee.

All
members require a copy of the Toastmasters International Member Kit. A
sample Toastmasters New Member Kit is available for viewing at each
meeting. It includes:

annual membership to Rangitoto Toastmasters Club automatically entitles
you to a subscription to the monthly Toastmasters International
magazine “The Toastmaster”, which is airmailed to your address upon
registration with Toastmasters International. Please note there may be
a delay of several months before your first issue arrives after you
join.
